This article presents the conception and implementation of the curriculum components “Life Project” and “Electives” in a private educational institution, aligned with the guidelines of the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC) for High School, ratified on 12/14/2018. The adopted methodology involves the experiential account of two participating teachers in the project’s development within the education network, currently tasked with moderating the institution-wide integrated model. The accounts are grounded in detailing the essential aspects of evaluation processes, adopting an approach that differs from the criteria applied to traditional disciplines, through the constant (re)orientation of parameters to incorporate strategies linked to the knowledge process as a guide for continuous learning, transcending the boundaries of the classroom and extending into the students’ lives.
