Abstract

This essay presents a critical reflection on the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in household management, based on the experience of a contemporary woman balancing work, motherhood, and education. Through both practical and symbolic analysis, the discussion explores whether technology serves as an ally or instead reinforces gender inequalities. The methodology is grounded in experiential narrative and interdisciplinary critical analysis. It concludes that, while promising, IoT still faces access limitations and risks of invisible workload.
