This article investigates the role of digital narratives in design as a strategy for creating immersive experiences in the metaverse, using the Rock Metalverse Brasília exhibition as a case study. The research is based on a qualitative analysis grounded in Bardin’s (1977) perspective, aiming to identify and categorize the design elements present in
the exhibition environment. The analysis reveals how visual, auditory, and interactive components were integrated to foster visitor engagement, strengthen collective memory, and reinforce the cultural identity associated with the rock music produced in Brasília. The results suggest that the effective integration of these elements contributes to a meaningful experience and to the reinterpretation of collective memory, repositioning the avatar as an active subject in the immersive experience.
