The article offers an analytical chronicle of the People’s Summit held in Belém during COP 30, situating it within the historical trajectory of socio-environmental summits and forums since Rio 92, with special attention to documents, collective actors, and disputes around climate justice. It describes the Summit’s structuring axes, its symbolic actions (boat march, people’s banquet, macro-ecumenical vigil, march), and the participation of religious organizations, particularly Christian churches, ecumenical networks, and environmental education initiatives. It also analyzes the ecumenical Tapiri as a distinctive space articulating faith, politics, and climate justice, and highlights the main proposals of the final document, which emphasize phasing out fossil fuels, the protagonism of peoples, and the construction of just cities and living peripheries.
